Some random
Colorado photos from taking my parents "out
and about" during their vacation ...
On one afternoon, we took a drive to Monarch Pass and I snapped shots of Mt. Ouray
and Chipita Peak (top), the Monarch Pass sign (middle) and the view facing on the east
side of Monarch Pass (bottom). |

We also walked around
downtown Salida and watched the
kayakers at the play park. In the right photo, notice the wild prickly
pear cacti growing
beside the sidewalk! :) |

Now this picture collection is by no means exhaustive of
all the things we did. In fact, you can see more photos of our time at Independence Pass and Aspen.
We went to the overlook west of Johnson Village (top) and
did a short drive up Cottonwood Pass Road (bottom). |

We spent one night together in downtown Denver. I got
a view from our hotel room on the 20th floor of the Comfort Inn (top) and even though I felt sick with a fever, I went for a short walk on the popular 16th Street Mall (bottom). |
