ColoradoGuy.com Makes It In The Denver Post! :)
December 31, 2006 - Well, I am very happy to announce that my web site made it
in the esteemed Denver Post, the largest newspaper in
Colorado. The brief write-up
was on the front page of the "Colorado Sunday" section of the newspaper's Sunday, December 31, 2006 issue.
The article is short, sweet and concise and I really appreciate the
upbeatness of it. Now I don't want to be nitpicky here, but
there are two modest corrections to make:
1) I am not much of a web designer and do not attempt to make a living from it.
I do know enough about HTML, color schemes and Internet marketing to
get me in trouble and now and then I've created a web site for a friend or acquaintence for a modest fee.
2) While I quickly learned I could keep in touch with friends and make many news friends
through this web site, it was never created to "update my pals back in
New Jersey."
Good heavens! I don't have any friends remaining from New Jersey besides Bernie,
my long-time friend whom I meet up with when I visit the family
in New Jersey during the Christmas season. [See: Central Park (2000),
Christmas Lights in Brooklyn (2001),
Bernie at New Jersey Shore (2003),

Again, special thanks to the Denver Post staff for generously plugging my web site! :)

P.S. This is definitely more exciting than when my photo of a rainbow (left photo) made it in the Chaffee County Times. ;)
