Christmas Lights!
(My Pictures Of "Christmas Mountain" And Christmas Lights In Salida, Colorado) - December 1, 2006
 |
Tonight I was in Salida, Colorado to photograph some of the Christmas decorations
in the downtown area. During the holiday season, Tenderfoot Mountain (sometimes referred to as "S" Mountain) is
decorated with lights. This is the view from F Street. The center decoration switches
from a heart to the "S" every couple of minutes. Here are my pages in and around Salida:
Walk To "S" Mountain, Mt. Princeton Hot Springs

At Riverside Park,
there is a beautiful, long line of Christmas trees!!! :) |

Merry Christmas! :)
My camera has a difficult time taking crisp pictures of the Christmas trees and lights up close, but here are some of the nicer ones.

I really liked this Christmas train. Look at the white lights
that represent the train's exhaust! :p) |
 |
Here is a Christmas tree made out of skis. Neat! :) |

Lastly, I'd like to dedicate this picture collection to my Grandma Grace, who
sadly died exactly one week ago at the age of 91. Everyone in my family loves and misses her! |
