May 4, 2014 - With the weather warm, I have been cycling in many places such as
Chalk Creek Canyon,
Cottonwood Lake and Lost Canyon Road (in Granite).
Today, I wanted to do a more leisure ride and biked around the country roads and neighborhoods northwest of
When I got to the start of Chaffee County Road 368, I snapped this photo and posted it on my Facebook page.
It such a scenic and peaceful view, isn't it?
By the way, I biked way into the forest and got a huge workout. I also learned there are beautiful homes in the trees. The neighborhoods
are known as Wapiti Circle and Four Elk. Also, that mountain is none other than Mount Columbia, a 14er in the Sawatch Range.
Happy cycling! -Steve in Buena Vista, CO Facebook -
